The Best Picture From Apple’s iPad Press Conference

I’m not sure what this says about me, but I honestly laughed when I read this lede:

Microsoft has filed an objection to Apple’s application for the “App Store” trademark, calling the term too generic to be fairly registered.

Really? This from the company that set the standard for trademarking conversational English? No, nothing generic about terms like “Windows,” “Word,” “Desktop,” “Bookshelf,” “Office,” “Money,” “Flight Simulator,” and of course, “Bob,” now is there?

My advice to Microsoft: work on building a better (app store) place that sells apps, and stop worrying so much about what you call it.
